Our client provides life-sustaining Durable Medical Equipment (DME). DME provides therapeutic benefits to patients in need due to certain medical conditions and illnesses. Our client is a national leader in providing DME for the treatment of diabetes, wound care, and infant care. From their office in Bothell, WA, you will work directly with consumers, arranging orders, and working with insurance companies to ensure proper billing. This is the rare position where you play a direct role in the quality of your customers' lives.

You will be working along-side other self-motivated teammates who are detail-oriented, highly organized and eager to break into the medical equipment industry. With your positive attitude and exceptional communication skills, as well as a strong desire to excel, you will have the opportunity to grow and succeed in this role. This role directly connects with the customer and delivering on the customer experience, works collaboratively within the team and across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage high volume inbound and outbound calls to and from patients and referrals
  • Communicate quickly and professionally to customer questions and concerns
  • Gather patient demographics and billing information as needed to complete requested orders
  • Maintain customer records by clearly and consistently updating the database
  • Process orders using CRM system
  • Recommend additional products that may be necessary or available to the customer

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 2 years of customer service experience required
  • 1 year of call center experience or experience taking escalated calls required
  • Spanish, Russian, or other language preferred
  • 1 year of experience working in the medical field (patient access representative, patient insurance representative, medical biller, etc.) preferred
  • MS Office experience preferred with an emphasis on Word & Outlook
  • Call center phone etiquette experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to practice proper phone etiquette
  • Reliable transportation to Bothell
  • Upon offer of full-time, must pass a drug test
