What's involved?

  • Coordinating and registering digital software for the Nintendo eShop across all NOA territories
  • Coordinating projects and games releases within the team
  • Registering, testing and releasing weekly software launches
  • Working with project team to update and optimize the content management system
  • Working with partner teams to ensure timely release of new titles and updates
  • Supporting continuous process improvement activities to optimize systems and increase productivity
  • Supporting initiatives such as Nintendo News, download codes, and price promotions
  • Verifies ESRB ratings and proper copyright/trademark attribution
  • Converting videos and reviews quality
  • Some data accumulation and statistical reporting/analysis will be required

Required Experience

  • Native level written/verbal Japanese is preferred
  • One to three years of digital publishing experience
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with workflow process improvement (identification and solutions)
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of video game industry, with emphasis on Nintendo products
  • In-depth knowledge of business English, grammar, and punctuation
  • Experience coordinating small projects a plus
  • Experience with project management tools a plus (Jira, Redmine)
  • Photoshop skills preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent

What requirements should I meet to be considered?

We ask that all candidates pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check. In addition, candidates must be able to work December 26th-31st, along with a willingness to work extra hours around all holidays, if needed. To be considered, candidates must also be free to work both weekend days, and offer flexibility as schedules can change weekly. Nintendo and Parker also require all associates to sign a non-disclosure agreement upon hire.

Nintendo associates are also required to take a mandatory, consecutive eight-week break in service after 48 consecutive weeks on the job before they are eligible to return for another 48-week period.
