Job Details

Medical Assistant needed for pediatric clinic in Orem, UT. – 

Pay Rate: $19 – $22 per hour 

Location: Onsite in Orem, UT 

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire 

**In compliance with the Department of Health and vaccine mandates COVID-19 vaccination will be required. You must also be able to complete a Drug Screen.** 

Our client is provides specialized pediatric care through a coordinated approach. Our client is part of a network of one of the nation's largest providers of prenatal, neonatal, and pediatric services, operating in 38 states across more than 700 hospitals. Through their belief in a patient-focused experience, they are able to provide their patients with high value, personalized care based on the patient's needs.

Responsibilities:  

  • Provide safe patient care by demonstrating organizational skills that maintain and coordinate safe delivery of quality care for patients and families 

  • Perform basic exams and intake assessments to support effective care  

  • Charting, vital blood pressure, and pulse ox 

  • Help address patient problems, expected outcomes, and address preventative measures. 

  • Deliver care that is specific to the age of the patient. 

  • Care for patients as delegated by the provider, RN, or LPN within scope of services. 

  • Contribute information provided by the patient or family for the assessment of health status. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • At least one year of Medical Assistant experience (pediatric experience is a major plus!) 

  • Diploma or MA Certificate required (if diploma, must obtain your certificate within 1 year of working) 

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for community care 

  • A high level of confidentiality with patient/internal information 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
