ACT Outpatient Clinician needed for a private, nonsectarian, not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization.

Pay Rate: $50,000 – $60,000 DOE + $5,000 Sign On Bonus
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina 
Work Arrangement: On-Site
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-5 

As an ACT Outpatient Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing direct support and therapeutic interventions to individuals in the community who are in need of mental health services. This position emphasizes clinical support, focusing on client care, assessments, and home visits.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the therapeutic needs and treatment goals of clients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, therapeutic needs, and clinical best practices.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, counseling sessions, and support to clients in the community setting.
  • Conduct home visits as part of ongoing support, monitoring, and engagement with clients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Attend daily internal meetings to review cases, collaborate with colleagues, and ensure alignment of treatment plans and goals.
  • Participate in on-call duties once a week, providing phone support and crisis intervention as needed, and receiving a stipend for each day on call.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, case managers, and other clinicians, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to clients.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on client progress, changing needs, and feedback from clients and team members.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of mental health and participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Associate’s License in Social Work (A).
  • Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably with individuals with mental health disorders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs, including scheduling home visits and participating in on-call duties.
  • Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping, with attention to detail and accuracy.
