As an Appointment Scheduler in the COVID-19 Call Center, you’ll be responsible for taking phone calls from clients, coding medical information, maintaining patient databases, answering to patient vaccination inquiries for multiple locations across the facilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answers phones and emails, schedules and confirms appointments, and inputs customer data into company systems.
  • Organizes workflow and appointment by reading and routing correspondence, collecting customer information, and managing assignments.
  • Manages department schedule by maintaining calendars for department personnel and arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Completes requests by greeting customers, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer instructions and established procedures.
  • Secures information by completing database backups.
  • Provides historical reference by utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Professionalism over all forms of communication.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledgeable of CDC and Department of Health recommendations.
  • Previous administrative or call center experience is a plus!

**In compliance with the Department of Health and hospital regulations, you will be required to have the following:

  • COVID-19 Vaccination 
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Card
  • PPD/TB Test within the past 90 days of start date (Skin, T-spot or QuantiFERON is accepted)
  • Hep B Vaccination Series
  • MRRV Vaccination (Mumps, Rubella, Rubeola, Varicella)
