Associate Post Closing Specialist needed for a not-for-profit financial institution

As the Associate Post Closing Specialist, you'll thrive in the fast-paced environment tracking and scheduling loan deliveries, including review and correction of all loan data elements required by investor delivery platforms. You will also be responsible for the collection, delivery and follow-up of mortgage documents relating to mortgage loan sales on the secondary market.

  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU’s Competencies and Information Protection requirements.
  • Scan all loan documents required for servicing set-up and upload and index in imaging software. Perform a review of all documentation and make corrections as necessary before transmitting to BECU’s sub-servicer.
  • Review and confirm accuracy of loan level data to initiate boarding with sub-servicer.
  • Secure and file all original loan promissory notes in the mortgage custodial room.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with the Mortgage Funding group and outside sources to coordinate the timely flow of loan files from closing into the shipping area and to resolve any for outstanding documentation requests with investors and sub-servicers.
  • File mortgage loan notes, paper Deed of Trusts and any modification documentation in the secure Mortgage File room.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.     


  • Proficient math skills, with a high degree of accuracy and ability to determine loan-to-value, payment-to-income ratios, and debt-to-income ratios required.
  • Proficient PC skills required; knowledge of GINNIENET and MID2312ANET software preferred.
  • Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language required.
  • Full times hours required, additional hours as necessary.
  • Associate Degree or equivalent work or educational experience required.
  • Minimum one year of work experience in customer service required.
  • Experience in mortgage origination, processing, servicing or shipping preferred.
