Hours: 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm Monday-Friday

The Collections Representative position is a critical contributor to our client's team. Their organization is growing like crazy and offers opportunities to accelerate both your compensation and your career! You'll be making between 100-150 outbound calls on an auto-dialer and there are three different tiers you can unlock based on your performance. Each tier enables you to earn more and there is no fixed waiting period for you to get access--essentially, you control your own destiny!

How does commission work?

You initially start with your guaranteed hourly base pay ($17.50-$21.00/hour depending on experience). You then earn a commission which is a percentage of each debt amount you successfully collect. Once your commission exceeds your base pay, you earn the higher of the two. On-target-earnings for 3-6 months in can reach $62-65k if you're meeting expectations, and top performers can hit $100k+ within year one!

What would I be doing?

  • Making 100-150 outbound calls to both consumer and business contacts depending on the client
  • Working with customers to negotiate a debt repayment strategy
  • Demonstrating professionalism and empathy for a wide range of backgrounds and situations
  • Following federally mandated compliance regulations regarding fair debt collection practices
  • Managing time effectively to meet performance goals
  • Contributing a positive attitude to customer and co-worker alike
  • Utilizing an proprietary system to notate customer contacts and call results

What are you looking for?

  • Previous experience in bill or debt collection (call center experience in a credit card or similar financial environment also encouraged to apply)
  • Basic math skills (addition/subtraction)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and dependable work ethic
  • Persistence and ability to overcome objections
  • Ability to use common office software and tools
