Document Clerk needed for an established financial institution in Boise

You are meticulous and your ability to resolve time-sensitive account inquiries quickly with such accuracy makes you a Rockstar! As the Document Clerk, you will be responsible for providing high quality support to Branches, the Client Care Center, Deposit Operations and other internal departments to best support the Company's business goals and service level expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and process Foreign and Canadian Checks to be sent for collection.
  • Research and resolve overdrawn accounts, closing accounts if necessary.
  • Accurately locate errors and make appropriate adjustments and corrections to check deposit transactions.
  • Provide real-time processing and balancing, immediate check verification, and improved transaction accuracy
  • Identify and assist branches with fraudulent check claims.
  • Process transit returns and redeposit if necessary.
  • Answer all calls and email communication in a courteous, respectful, accurate, supportive, and timely manner.
  • Cooperatively work with colleagues, branch staff, as well as internal and external clients with the highest level of professionalism, courteousness, respect, and attentiveness.



  • A high school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in banking or the financial services industry preferred.
  • Experience with an online-computer system.
  •  Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to accept instruction, prioritize, follow-through on work assignments with minimal supervision. 
  • Proven success in working in a team environment.
  • Must be able to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to learn and adapt to change.
  • Working knowledge of or the ability to learn applicable state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to this position. 
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office. 
  • Strong typing skills including 10-key. 
  • Capable of effectively working from home as well as able and willing to work in the office at a later time.
