As the Executive Assistant to the Directors, and their functions, you will need to be flexible, resilient, and use mental fortitude to support the company to see that their mission succeeds. What you'll be doing.

  • Maintain managing director and senior director calendars and travel schedule. Works closely with managing director, senior director, work unit team and other internal and external parties to ensure a well-coordinated schedule.
  • Support managing director, senior director, and project manager in developing Strategic Engagement & Initiatives annual budget. This includes organizing annual budget planning and providing ongoing budget monitoring and variance analysis; prepare budget adjustments as needed. Works across SEI team to ensure accurate processing of invoices, expense reports and other financial items.          
  • Respond to incoming requests to the MD or Senior Director on a wide variety of issues and works through to resolution. Prepares notes for collaboration and internal workgroup meetings and conference calls.         
  • Develop and maintain administrative processes, ensuring alignment with company policies and work unit goals. Coordinate team meetings and retreats and prepare materials for meetings. Serve as the subject matter expert on administrative issues, provide coaching and guidance to administrative staff as needed. Coordinate and develop administrative resources with other work units as assigned.               
  • Manage projects and events in conjunction with managing director, senior director and team. Coordinate with the work units, external partners, and vendors to ensure successful project/event to completion.   


About you.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 7 years of administrative support experience, at least 5 of which have been at the executive level. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and effective written and verbal communication skills are needed. The ability to work autonomously and exercise independent judgment is required.
  • A broad knowledge of computer software is required. Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite are needed.
  • Local travel as well as occasional out of town travel may be required. Driving on company business may require use of personal vehicle; adherence to vehicle safety guidelines and qualification for insurance is required.
