Facilities Maintenance Technician needed for a software company in Bellevue

Employment Type: Ongoing Contract, 1-2 years plus

Our reputable Software Distribution client is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. With a proactive rather than reactive mentality, you'll be a key contributor to keeping facilities requests moving through the process, as well as handling light fixes as assigned.
 

What will you be doing?

  • Take ownership of quality assurance walks, painting, and all office fixtures.
  • Hang pictures, break down boxes, take inventory.
  • Act as liaison between building management.
  • Additional duties as needed.
Bonus if you're able to:
  • Higher level- strong vendor management skills, that's foundational skill of this
  • Ability or experience in scheduling, organizing, and managing Maintenance projects
  • Space planning (familiarity with high tough space planning)
  • Experience or proficiency in emergency preparedness ie, creation and Maintenance of procedures
  • In office security of software environment, high investigative
  • Experience managing class A office Space that exceeds 100,000 sq ft.
  • Experience parsing through proposals and settling on vendor.

What will you bring?

  • One year of experience in facilities in a professional office environment, preferably in the tech industry.
  • Must be able to work onsite.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative attitude with a willingness to do any tasks, large or small.
  • 2-5 years of experience in similar or related field.
