As the Purchasing Clerk, you will be responsible for inventory order requests from internal customers, prepare and submit purchase orders and or issue items from the warehouse, track purchases and supplies, and responds to inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations. Records receipts for items drop shipped and or follows up with vendors to determine order status. You will also assist in invoice processing for items and services maintained by the purchasing department in this fast-paced environment.


What you'll be responsible for.

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the department.
  • Manage high volume of emails, pull invoices, data entry, make copies, and scan receipts.
  • Type reports, purchase orders, memoranda, and prepare other documents.
  • Research vendors and collect prices, specifications, and other data related to goods and services.
  • Establish and maintain recordkeeping system for purchasing department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

About you.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least two years of clerical experience preferred
  • Knowledge of or willing to learn purchasing procedures and policies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; Ability to type 40 wpm
